I really love this property… my favorite in the Studio City area. I’m transitioning to a new home and have needed short-term accommodations. I’ve spent most of my time staying here for many different reasons. At this point I’ve probably have stayed in 10 different rooms, so I think I can offer a pretty good assessment of the property. First of all, each and every time I’ve walked into a new room, I’ve found them to have been serviced, clean and neutral smelling—some reviews have complained about pot or cigarette smells. I’ve never found that to be the case. It is an older building… my guess is was built in the 1960s. Old doesn’t mean bad, so long as a place is well maintained. This place is. The other morning as I was walking through the property I noticed a cart with nothing but old and fresh curtains. Apparently they were changing out the curtains to clean as part of regular maintenance. Admittedly most of the rooms might feel older, particularly the bathrooms with the tiling and porcelain bathtubs. I prefer to say their vintage as they remind me of taking baths in my grandmothers apartment when I was 5 years old. But again, they do seem to a plan. Twice I’ve stayed in rooms where they’ve remodeled… probably the bathroom where the tub was replaced by a glass, walk-in shower, modern sink facility and new tiled floor. Looked and felt like it was in one you’d find in a 4-star hotel. I can’t say enough about the friendly, helpful staff. They’re truly the best. The housekeeping staff do an excellent job of preparing times. I’ve never find hairs or dirty bathrooms like some reviewers have brought up. As for people complaining about not having their rooms daily….I don’t have my room cleaned every day. But in like it that way. Why waste water changing sheets every day when it’s not needed. Thing is, if I ask to have my room on it. They’ll even ask me at the front desk what time is like to have it done to suit my convenience.

Due to the Corona pandemic, the lobby is closed; any interaction with the front desk is exclusively through the night window. The staff, mostly Spanish-speaking, is amicable and helpful. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. However, after the Omikron variant of the virus appeared, the staff stopped cleaning the rooms; those who wanted a clean room had to clean it themselves. The hotel offers rooms and suites. My suite was spacious, generous, and well equipped with strong wi-fi, TV (about 100 channels - no HBO), refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, plenty of outlets, a little tresor, and a hairdryer; storage space abounds. Parking is located behind the hotel, but parking is not free for hotel guests. There is a $10 fee per day for the use of the parking lot. The swimming pool is heated and clean. There are comfortable sitting areas throughout the hotel grounds. The hotel is easily accessible from LAX airport via I-405 and 101. However, even with "normal" traffic, you should allow up to 30 minutes for the 22 miles and up to an hour during rush hour. The hotel is located on Ventura Blvd, a busy street, and directly in the flight path of the Burbank Airport, which can lead to some noise pollution. Studio City is what Americans call a "good neighborhood." The area around the hotel is quiet and safe; there are stores, supermarkets (RALPH'S across the intersection), restaurants, hairdressers, and banks.

The pool was relatively warm n clean . Maid service excellent had issues with WiFi phone in room didn't work they exchanged it but still didn't work thonk it needed a new socket replacement . WiFi finally worked after 4 days stay think phone line caused it . Staff were very welcoming helpful and friendly did best to please. Maid service available daily if required. Pool has locable gate around to prevent general use pool towels provided clean bedding and room towels provided on demand room was very spacious like a mini apartment with air con fridge coffee maker large beds TV. Sofa and table and 2 chairs area to hang clothes lacked hangers I picked some up .bathroom bath with shower. Water was hot on demand . Ground floor in courtyard was OK but people above very noisy at night . Heard every footstep . Would stay here again felt safe .

I had no idea what to expect from my booking at the Studio City Courtyard Hotel, and I was *very* pleasantly surprised. + I was given a free upgrade when I checked in, which was awesome, and my new room turned out to be really spacious and, dare I say it, luxe. It had a really nice seating area with a couch and coffee table, and a fantastic bathroom with a rainfall-style showerhead and lavender-scented toiletries. I was not expecting to be so pampered by what looks like a motel. + To my surprise and delight, the room also had a fridge and a microwave. + The room heater was excellent, and kept me nice and toasty. + The wifi signal was strong. + I made use of the on-site guest laundry, which was $1.50 each to wash and to dry. The front desk sold detergent for $1.

The pool was amazing and it felt so like a holiday pool compared to some other ones we have stayed in around California ! Safe location, as four girls we felt very safe in the area. Close to a few shops that you could grab food/ water from. Overall staff lovely
